There is no mystery to as why Arsene Wenger brings in French players (if you don’t know Arsene Wenger is French you need to close this post and walk away), but what do we the fans think. There are rumors now that Arsenal is making a move for Olympique Marseille playmaker Mathieu Valbuena. The French International at 26 is said to be valued at 15 million pounds and a possible replacement for an outbound Gunners player…
Swansea up with the big Guns
Swansea are in the premier league next season, this after overcoming a second half Reading fight back to claw their way into the Premiership. For me I always love an underdog to come up and I also like it when it’s a team that has not been in the Premier League for a while and In Swansea’s case they are the first team outside England to play in the premier league since its formation in 1992…
Barcelona vs Manchester United
Wembley is the venue for the clash of the Titans tonight, United have proved they are the best in England while, Barcelona have once again been crowned champions of Spain. Tonight we will see two teams of great heritage and skill square off against each other with both each looking for their fourth Champions league win, it will surely prove to be a battle we won’t forget too soon.
Football 101’s Player of the Season
Samir Nasri is Football 101’s Player of the Season, it was a close battle between Jack Wilshere and Robin Van Persie, but the little Frenchmen took it on account of how he stepped up to the plate this season and not to mention many amazing performances.
Could Barcelona preparations be up in Smoke
Or should I say Ash, with the volcano in Iceland spuing out large amounts of ash clouds, flights have been grounded as the cloud threatens to cover Northern Europe. What are Barcelona going to do, they blamed the cloud for their semi final exit last year to Inter Milan as they were not able to fly and had to take a long trip to Italy, of course I just think that’s an excuse cause Inter were the better team, but none the less Barca have no intention of letting that happen again and will fly to London later
Wenger to make some dance moves on the transfer floor.
Wenger has been like one of those Guys who watch all the cool kids out on the dance floor and seeing all the rewards and attention go to them, Finally it seems he has plucked up the courage and is going to hit the dance floor.....If you have no idea what I am talking about I am referring to Wenger finally deciding to dive into the transfer market (dance floor) and make some moves and it seems he has captured his first name.....
Final Day thrillers and Heart Ache
Wow, all I can say is that today saw the final day of the best league in the world, the premier league. Man United were crowned champions for those of you who care, but more importantly two more teams joined West Ham in relegation. On top of this all Arsenal drew 2-2 to round off an absolute terrible ending to the season and Carlo Ancelotti has been sacked by Chelsea....
Last Day.....Last Chance
Today will see two more sides join West Ham in the Championship next season, Birmingham, Wigan, Blackpool, Blackburn or Wolves are all still in the Battle to Stay up. Wigan play stoke away, Blackpool play Man United at Old Trafford, Wolves host Blackburn and Birmingham away at Spurs means that come kickoff we will all be glued to the games......
A Catch up
I wake up this morning to some absolute beautiful news Denilson is all over the tabloids and wants to leave Arsenal. Some fans who don't pay close attention might think this is a bad thing, but really the only news that I could hear better than this is that Rosicky is leaving, but this will do.
The Brazilian has stated that he wants to quite Arsenal after the worst season of his life. Denilson also said
“He says he will not stand in my way and if the club receive a good offer for me I can go. I was so relieved to hear that. I am very grateful."
“Not every manager would have been like Arsene Wenger, not every club would act like Arsenal. I know in a year’s time I might regret it and be wishing I’d stayed. I may go somewhere and find it’s just not the same".

Its nice to see he has nice things to say about Wenger and just to add to this quick Sagna stated yesterday that all the players are behind Wenger 200% which shows that he is doing a right job, but the players feel they have let the team down.

Denilson |
Back to the Brazilian, he really has taken ten steps back after looking rather promising last season, he has had a shocker. He is free to go and I for one wish him all the best, but am very thankful that, the Drift wood is going to leave. It leaves room for youngsters like Lansbury to come in who want to fight for their place at Arsenal, players like this that actually could make a difference.
Denilson has only made 16 appearances for the Gunners in the League this Season with 0 Assists and 0 goals, compared to 2 seasons ago when he made 37 appearances the most of any Arsenal player.
How times have changed for the Brazilian, maybe our success comes down that because we have players of that caliber in our squad to replace Fabregas and Nasri when injured, it just doesn't cut it. All the best Deni, but I can see no negetives with you leaving
Looking forward and back
Arsenal now have slipped to 4th, with Man City's thumping of Stoke (something we could not do) they have over taken us Gunners and moved into 3rd, the automatic qualifying position.
Its become something of an everyday experience to feel down about the Guns, but we need to take heart that we have still qualified fro champions league something Spurs could not do (haha) and now we must look forward. Next season will see the 125th anniversary of the club and with the old motto "Forward" on the crest, I could not think of any thing more appropriate. The Guns need to push forward, need to see what problems wee had this season and fix them, not just talk about it. What this means is obviously signings, and to get rid of the drift wood, there is no place is the Squad for players with no heart and for the playing ability of a 1st Division player, Arsenal can usher in the anniversary with the merging of the old and new and push forward and prove our critics wrong.
Looking back it's 40 years since Arsenal won their first ever Double. As us Gunners love to remember the past, four decades ago, the Gunners beat Tottenham to clinch the League title at White Hart Lane and then saw off Liverpool at Wembley five days later after 120 grueling minutes.
Men such as Pat Rice, Charlie George(here in the pic) and Eddie Kelly were responsible for the success. Lets Just hope that these glory days can come back soon and us Gunners can show our true quality.

On to other talk is people have been wondering, will Arshavin, Cesc and Nasri leave Arsenal? Will we see them playing in this new kit. Arshavin signed for between £12-£15 million depending on clauses being met, and started like a house on fire, everyone can remember his 4 goals against Liverpool and wasn't that just great, but lately either you love him or you hate him, as his heart just doesn't seem to be in it anymore. So will he go or will he leave, I think he will stay one more season, Arsene Wenger recently hinted that he was going to tough it out and show what he is made of, which no matter what you think of the Russian is good news for Arsenal. Nasri, well he has been a revelation this season and only has 1 year left on his contract, which means teams are bound to come knocking this summer. But again I think the Frenchman will stay he has a soft spot for Arsene and Arsenal in his heart and he has stated that before he moves on he needs to win something with Arsenal, otherwise he feels it will all have been a waste. If Cesc goes, then Nasri can slip into that position and I think that is where he really wants to play.
Speaking of Cesc, its all up in the air, Real are apparently going to make an offer of 45 Million for the Gunners Captain, and on top of this Barcelona are said to not be interested in him any more, because of a lack of funds and finding another battle with Arsenal over him to tiring. I think this is all rubbish and he will still go to Barca, they are just playing hard ball so the asking price drops and maybe Cesc becomes unhappy that he hasn't been allowed to go. As for the Real bid, why would Cesc want to go there, he is in love with their fiercest rivals Barca and Arsenal are certainly not going to let him go if he would prefer to stay at Arsenal, well thats just my thinking......

Depression is a 7 letter word and its called Arsenal

What makes this all the more worse is that Money bags Manchester City are at the door and with a win over Stoke tonight will see them over take us and move into 3rd. What that means is that Arsenal will qualify for champions league 4th position only meaning that they will have to have a qualifying round. This means the season will start earlier for players and there is always the possibility of losing (not likely, but you never know). What now for Arsenal, we need a transplant of some sort whether it be a for a new heart or steel (backbone). Arsenal 2.0 the next generation if we are going to keep the faith need to start a fresh next season, players that are not producing need to go and Wenger needs to step up and stop try to be friends with all the players.

I think we can, I can keep the faith, but the question is not whether I can, it is whether you, the rest of the fans, the players and board can. Only time will tell, but as a Gooner I can only hope for the best.
Arsenal 2.0…..the next generation
Arsenal has once again fallen short this season and need to…no have to, dip into the transfer market. As I said in the last post I have a number of players who I think we should buy, but it’s also who we realistically can get and more to the point who Wenger may consider going for. Everyone would like to buy Messi and other ridiculous dreams, but I am a realist and this is what Arsenal needs.

First of all at the back, with our defence in shambles fact is we need some steel, Djourou has done a great job, but Vermaelen needs a partner at the back who is not going to make those little mistakes that cost us dearly.
Leighton Baines, with the controversy of Clichy on his way out, the Everton man on top of being an Englishmen he was in the pfa team of the season, he has had a tremendous season and we have been linked to him on several occasions. He would fit in well at Arsenal with his pace and bombing runs down the left flank and not to mention his free kick ability.
Phil Jagielka, another Everton man and Englishmen, he is a class defender and has been the rock at the back for Everton this season; he would be an asset for Arsenal for obvious reasons.
Per Mertesacker, The German defender from Werder Bremen, showed us his class in the 2010 world cup in South Africa, and has been linked with us since the Jan transfer window. He’s Hard he’s strong and he won’t be out muscled by strong strikers, exactly what Arsenals frail defence need.

Gary Cahill, the Bolton Englishmen, and my pick, he has been a superman for Bolton this season and I hope we get him. Liverpool are expected to also go for him and I can only pray that Arsene Wenger shows some balls and doesn’t shy away from this challenge. We have supposedly been given 60 million to spend, but again it is always a case of can or will Wenger use this. When is Arsenal going to realise there is no trophy for the best looking bank balance at the end of the season.
Scott Parker, now for the Midfield, With West Ham all, but down Parker will be surely moving elsewhere, and I think this is the only way that Arsenal would move for the Englishmen. With the price surely lowered with relegation I am sure Arsenal will make a move, what I like about this is that Parker will add experience and class to a midfield that could well be losing Fabregas.
Diego Milito, the Inter man has fallen out of favour with new management this season and has not been firing as much, but when Mourinho was in charge there he was the go to guy and was known as “the man who can’t miss”. So I think it would be a good fit at Arsenal, we need a man who finishes when he gets a chance in the box….’a fox in the box’ if you will. He is a class player and will be a solid addition to Arsenal, all his critics, you mark my words, if he comes to Arsenal he will be a success.
Karim Benzema, the Frenchman has been linked for a while to Arsenal as he is said to want out of a frustrating time at Real Madrid. Of course being French he will have lots of friends at Arsenal, and close international team mates. He is a strong possibility to come to the Gunners and Imagine, Nasri, VP and Benzema on the attack for us Gooners. I think that if any of strikers are going to come to Arsenal Benzema is the most likely.
If the players that are said to leave, leave then Arsenals ideal squad team will consist of: Szczesny, Sagna. Cahill, Vermaelen, Baines, Djourou, Koscielny, Walcott, Nasri, Wilshere, Song, Navas, Parker, Ramsey, Benzema, Van Persie, and of course the other players that fit in here and there, but these are the players that will make up the bulk of the team, and in my eyes this is a solid team.
So all I ask is that the footballing Gods give Arsene Wenger the Wisdom and courage to see this and follow through in making the Gunners next season the new generation of Invincibles.

Jesus Navas, the World Cup winners Seville side are not going to qualify for champion’s league next year and this probably he will be on his way out, the question is where, Liverpool are set to go for him and this one I think there is a possibility that Arsene will shy away from this challenge, I wish he wouldn’t but to look at it realistically if Arsene and Kenny go for him I think Liverpool will fork out the cash. He is a class player and would be a great replacement for Arshavin who could be on his way back to Russia.
Now to the Forwards and Van Persie, Mr Glass, defiantly does need a strike partner and these are my three realistic options.
Ramamel Falcoa, the Colombian Porto man cannot stop scoring this season and has been a revelation. There has been some interest from Arsenal and he would be a great addition to the Arsenal way of playing. What I want is for Arsenal just to buy a player that is on fire and everyone else has heard of, instead of just buying 16 year old “wonder kids”.

Who's in and who's out?
So I wrote a few posts Ago that Arsenal were moving for Benzema, and again we hear it, this makes me excited, also there is the chance of Arsenal moving for Mario Götze…. Although us Gooners I might get peed off because he is another 18 year old and Arsenal need men not children, he is a winder kid, and for lack of a better example he has been the ‘Jack Wilshere of Borussia Dortmund’ this season.
Positive news, this is what I bloody need, there hasn’t really been any this season, with all that disappointment. Arsenal have had their trials however there are signs for next season of improvement and I suppose when we are told to keep the faith, instead of looking back at our invincible days we can look forward. Arsenal are rumoured to have a “war chest” of 60 million, I’ve heard this before though and really comes down to whether we spend it or if it is just a clever way the board is trying to keep fans happy.
It is rumoured that Clichy is on his way out of Arsenal, with Real Madrid and Liverpool interested, as he feels it is time to move on. I will be sad to see the Cliche go and I know my dad will as well. Arshavin could be on his way out back to Russia, although the little Russian has not performed this year, these could just be rumours, but if we replaced him with someone good, I would let him go. And of course there is Cesc Fabregas, probably leaving even though Wenger said he is going nowhere and even though Barcelona have claimed they do not want him anymore, I think they are just playing mind games to drop the asking price. Also Arsenal need to get rid of Rosicky, Denilson, Almunia, these three are……Crap plain and simple (Drift Wood) they add nothing to the team and need to be removed to make space for fresh blood.
The reason I don’t say Squillaci is because he is at the end of his career and he is quite happy to be a back up back up defender, and Arsenal need depth in the squad. I have not said Eboue either because he is much the same, does not mind hugging that bench, but more to the point I think the players are all fond of him and in a way he is sort of a Team cheerleader, you watch him next time on the bench as he comforts and cheers players coming off and on.

In the next post I will be looking at my Ideal Arsenal side for next season and who we should buy to replace these players, if and hopefully for some of them when they go.
Money trumps the Spurs
Peter Crouch netted an own goal to make it 1-0 on the night and guarantee that Champions league dream 4th position, what concerns me is they could still overtake Arsenal especially with the way they have been playing. Money bags city will get their wish now and play with the big boys next season in Europe, but as for Spurs they will probably not even finish 5th and will just scrape into the Europa league. Will there be a max exodus of players, especially from those who want champions league football. I mean Pienaar moved there for that reason, players like Van der Vaart and Bale could be on their way out and I for one could not be happier. When we were knocked out of the champions league Spurs fans were blowing their horns and laughing well now Arsenal get the last laugh over our rivals. This really could set them back a few years and make sure that the Gunners continue their domination of North London.

Jack Wilshere; need I say more about this man, his blood is red and has had the season of his life, picking up the PFA Youth Player award. I cannot wait to see what he has in store next season.
Robin Van Persie; Vp, Mr Glass, has had injuries, but my word he came back and has netted 16 goals this season. Imagine an injury free season, the man is pure class.
Bacary Sagna; the French defender is always solid and earned himself a place in the PFA team of the year. He is up there with the best Arsenal right backs of all time and I hope he wants to stay at Arsenal
Samir Nasri; missing out, just to Gareth Bale (i don't think he should have won) in the PFA award, the little Frenchman has come to the party this year with some amazing displays. If Fabregas wants to leave we know who can step in and his name is Samir.
Arsenal What now?
With United defeating the Blues in solid display of BMT football it is evident that Arsenal are a few steps behind, or is it leaps. I still see United's players as individually average, bar a few (Rooney, Vidic, Van der Sar), but what Ferguson is able to do is bring the best out of his players, and no one can deny they play like a team. United Play Barcelona in the Champions league Final on the 28th of May and if Fergie is able to think up a way to defeat Barca, I will have a cry of sadness. I don't think they will though Barcelona are in a league of their own and could to my delight make it look silly.
Arsenal Arsenal Arsenal, my hands held to my face as I feel something in my stomach all to familiar. Arsenal's defense against Stoke, summed up Arsenal's season pretty perfectly. With so much potential and quality it all amounted to nothing, Arsenal need to make a change plain and simply. I can keep the faith one more season and I believe if Arsenal buy players in the summer and Wenger catches a wake up then we have the chance to propel ourselves to glory. The Question is will Arsene Wenger change, we saw Liverpool destroy Fulham away from home last night, and it is evident change has woken a sleeping giant in Liverpool. Arsenal like the pool need to buy players of class, in my eye it is Radamel Falcao, the Porto man is on fire and we need players who know how to finish a team off. Our Midfield is quality and can only grow, but the Drift Wood (click link) all needs to go. Our Defense is any Arsenal fans concern, and Arsenal need to buy Cahill, Jagielka or Mertesacker, plain and simple, without change there can be no hope. Djourou who has had 2 shockers in his last 3 gamesKoscielny has done what he was bought to do, but he was never meant to play the entire, season the guy played French 2 division 2 years ago, he was meant to be a back up defender. We don't need backup players we need Quality.
Arsene Wenger needs to realise that being stubborn like a statue can do no one any good, he needs to remember that when he had the invincibles he bought quality and not just young quality. Fans are on the verge of burning the place down, but give him one more season, he has given Arsenal Champions League football every season, but now the hunger for trophies needs to be satisfied. don't want have to turn into one of the those fans that look back on the glory days and mutter to myself, but its all I can do to keep myself going. I have Faith and I can see in many players in Arsenal that their blood is red, we just need to weed out the problems and watch this garden grow into something great.

Title Decider? And Play for the Fans

Old Trafford is something of a fortress and Chelsea will have to be at their best to have a chance. Hopefully Torres can finally come to the party having recently broken his goal drought, the main man for me will be Drogba though he has the ability to put a tie on its head. I hate Ashley Cole more than anything, but Man United supporters drive me to drink, if United lose this, they could be trophy less this season (Barca will win on May 28th) and if that happens I know plenty of Man United Fans who will receive private messages from me. I Hope Chelsea Take it, because apart from making the title race great I think United fans need to come back down to earth.
The Gunners take on Stoke and need to win for the Fans, the pressure is off so I think they can do it. Ramsey come back to the place of his horrific Injury so I hope it does not effect him. The possible sides are and lets take home the victory.
Stoke City (4-4-2): Begovic; Wilson, Huth, Shawcross, Wilkinson; Pennant, Whithead, Whelan, Delap; Jones, Walters.
Arsenal (4-3-3): Szczesny; Sagna, Djourou, Koscielney, Gibbs; Ramsey, Song, Wilshere; Walcott, Van Persie, Arshavin.

If the Gunners don't win then, I don't know Wenger needs to throw rocks at some of his players. But I have a feeling we should win. Stoke and Arsenal have bad blood and our Arsene Wenger says their playing style would be more at home on a rugby field. Come on you Guns......
A Round up of Sorts
On Tuesday Night we saw Barcelona and Real Madrid draw 1-1 at the Nou Camp, it was a much better display of football and this could be down to the special one not being on the pitch. As I stated we truly did see Ronaldo although a fantastic player, is not nearly as good as Messi. The way the man runs, tackles, dribbles and plays is amazing. When Messi is tackled and goes down the ref 99% of the time gives a foul, this being because Messi is known to never dive. Ronaldo on the other hand is hardly given a free kick and that sbecause of the diving factor, so it just goes to show 'you reap what you sow'.
Ok I seem to have drifted off, ok Barcelona in the Final at Wembley on the 28th of May. They will meet Manchester United who defeated Schalke 04, 4-1 on the night and 6-1 on agg. United playing a second string side were extremely comfortable and had no real trouble in booking their place in the final. Barcelona is a whole another story, in my mind United do not have the midfield strength to contain the Barca superstar link up. With to world cup winning defenders at the back, Man United will have it all to do. We can never rule out United though and as much as I dislike red faced Fergie, my word do I respect him. He is possibly the best Manager in the world in my opinion and if any manager can find a formula to hold Barca and snatch a goal it is him.
In Arsenal news, Wenger and Arsenal are not to pleased that Wilshere has been included in the u21 England Squad and we will have to wait and see what agreement is reached. It is looking as if he will miss Arsenals pre season tour and even the start of next season.
With Pat Rice leaving at the end of the season, Gooners everywhere will be wondering who will step in too fill the shoes of a man who has served Arsenal longer than Wenger . The replacement is likely to be one of Bould, Grimandi or Banfield. Bould a member of the famous back four has a good understanding of the club, Grimandi shares Wenger's philosophies of bringing the youth forward and Banfield is very well trusted by all at Arsenal, so it is really anyones guess who would get the job. Personally I would like Bould to take up the job as he knows what Arsenal need and of course being the youth team coach at Arsenal gives him a knowledge of players coming through.
Arsenal have Stoke on Sunday and lets hope the continue winning ways, Man United host Chelsea and that is one game I will be sure not to miss.

Barca Take on Madrid in a Real Classic
Tonight Barcelona take on Real Madrid in another el clasico, Jose Mourinho and Pep Guardiola will square off again in a match that got the whole football world talking...again. Barca 2-0 up and playing at The Nou Camp tonight will be huge favourites. Both sides are coming off shock defeats in the league this weekend, pure evidence that their minds were elsewhere on the day, presumably the el clasico. Messi vs Ronald always a highly anticipated clash and with all players, coaches and fans on edge this game is going to be a spectical one way or the other.
Chaos Factor
Barcelona Squad: Valdes, Oier; Abidal, Puyol, Alves, Pique, Bartra, Fontas; Mascherano, Busquets, Sergi Roberto, Thiago, Iniesta, Xavi, Keita, Afellay; Messi, Villa, Pedro, Jeffren.
Real Madrid Squad: Casillas, Dudek, Adan; Carvalho, Marcelo, Arbeloa, Albiol, Garay, Nacho; Granero, Lass, Kaka, Alonso, Di Maria, Ozil; Adebayor, Higuaín, Ronaldo, Benzema.
I say this because last time saw once again the pot boil over and red cards fly, I feel sorry for the Spanish national side coaching staff (as Del Bosque has stated) as this fixture threatens to ruin their team spirit as you can just see the hatred growing for each other. Last match for the first 2 thirds of the game was an embarrassment to football, the constant surrounding of the ref was a bloody joke. Real Madrid with their tactic of playing the player not the ball, and Barca screaming for every tackle really made it a joke to watch, that was until Pepe was sent off because of Alves pretending he had been shot and Messi switching up a gear. From there we saw his second goal one of the best goals we've seen in a while, it was delicious. It will be a shame if tonight is like that again, but what ever happens it is going to be interesting to watch.
The two squads for tonight:
Barcelona Squad: Valdes, Oier; Abidal, Puyol, Alves, Pique, Bartra, Fontas; Mascherano, Busquets, Sergi Roberto, Thiago, Iniesta, Xavi, Keita, Afellay; Messi, Villa, Pedro, Jeffren.
Real Madrid Squad: Casillas, Dudek, Adan; Carvalho, Marcelo, Arbeloa, Albiol, Garay, Nacho; Granero, Lass, Kaka, Alonso, Di Maria, Ozil; Adebayor, Higuaín, Ronaldo, Benzema.
I think Barcelona will win and win comfortably, Real are going to have to come at them and when they do Barca will catch them on the counter and make them pay. Hopefully this game is a tribute to the game of football and I hope that all you people who think Ronaldo is the best player in the world open your eyes, There is only one lord of the football and he does not share power his name is Messi.....
In a side note the soccer side I play for was in action, the Dirty Seagulls...robbed we were robbed
Title race takes a turn
The Gunners did it, we have beaten Man United, take that you bloody Mancs. Although I am very happy I can't help but be very pissed off that if Arsenal had just won one of those 5 draws or the Bolton game we would be in the title race. Mathematically we are still in it, but there is more chance of Spurs seeing Champions league football next season then us winning.
Ramsey scored a beauty from a ball pulled back from VP, and sent the Arsenal fans wild, and wow did we need it. It is safe to say we bossed the midfield and United were actually poor. We should of had a penalty early on as the cheat Vidic decided to try and catch the ball with his hands, but the ref did not see it. Also what the hell was with the ref aways getting in the way in the first half, I can tell you I was swearing at the TV.

Ramsey's first home game was a great one, he showed great maturity today and if Fabregas wants to go at the end of the season, its good to know the Welsh captain is ready waiting. Wilshere also played very well and I preferred him in his role today, him and Ramsey have a good chemistry.
So United take on Chelsea next week and if the Blues win they will be level on points and then things would get interesting. If United meet Barcelona in the champions league final they will have no chance, Barca are a better Arsenal that take their chances, so in my mind Barca will walk it.....imagine United finish the season empty handed, then a few Man united fans I know would get personal messages from me........

Make it Matter
Arsenal take on Manchester United today, in a match that I was hoping would be the title decider, but sadly ever since that Birmingham shocker we have just been in a downward spiral. Arsenal has only won one of their last 7 league games drawing five in total. What does this tell you…well it tells me we could have walked this league. But Arsenal needs to pull themselves together, the title hopes are well and truly gone, but we need to show people we still matter and that this season has not been a waste of time.
Wenger stated in a press conference yesterday that he took full responsibility for Arsenal’s season and that he, must take it because he has set the playing style and made the team selections. Pretty safe to say most fans will say he should take the blame, but also some players just haven’t played how they should. Arsene can’t play and manage so it’s up to the players to put away those chances and frankly Arsenal have done shit. Chance after chance goes by, until we concede and end up with a draw or worse a loss. Arsenal today have to take their chances, we won’t get many and it is for that reason that when the opportunity arises, it must be taken.
If we look at the potential sides I would say they would line up as so:
This is the Arsenal side that is the strongest possible and would be my pick. Arsene has said that Cesc Fabregas has felt the pressure of Captaincy and will make him stronger for next season. Our players need to step up to the plate today and help carry that burden of leadership. We have the class and ability to defeat United as it would certainly lift the spirits of the players, not to mention the fans.
Chelsea beat Spurs yesterday which not only means that the blues are still in the hunt, but that Spurs are not looking like that going to qualify for champions league. There could be a mass exodus of players and set them back a few years, that would be great.
Arsenal it’s time to show people we still matter and silence those Man United fans that are appearing out of the wood work and claiming “I’ve supported Man United since Beckham”, let’s take the wind out of their sails and maybe even give Chelsea a chance (yes I would rather Chelsea win), Come on you gunners.

If we look at the potential sides I would say they would line up as so:
Arsenal (4-2-3-1)
Szczesny; Sagna, Djourou, Koscielny, Clichy; Song, Wilshere; Walcott, Fabregas, Nasri; Van Persie.
Manchester United (4-4-2)
Van der Sar; Rafael, Smalling, Vidic, Evra; Valencia, Anderson, Carrick, Nani; Hernandez, Rooney.

Something to reminisce about for us fans who crave the glory days……
