A Round up of Sorts

On Tuesday Night we saw Barcelona and Real Madrid draw 1-1 at the Nou Camp, it was a much better display of football and this could be down to the special one not being on the pitch. As I stated we truly did see Ronaldo although a fantastic player, is not nearly as good as Messi. The way the man runs, tackles, dribbles and plays is amazing. When Messi is tackled and goes down the ref 99% of the time gives a foul, this being because Messi is known to never dive. Ronaldo on the other hand is hardly given a free kick and that sbecause of the diving factor, so it just goes to show 'you reap what you sow'.

Ok I seem to have drifted off, ok Barcelona in the Final at Wembley on the 28th of May. They will meet Manchester United who defeated Schalke 04, 4-1 on the night and 6-1 on agg. United playing a second string side were extremely comfortable and had no real trouble in booking their place in the final. Barcelona is a whole another story, in my mind United do not have the midfield strength to contain the Barca superstar link up. With to world cup winning defenders at the back, Man United will have it all to do. We can never rule out United though and as much as I dislike red faced Fergie, my word do I respect him. He is possibly the best Manager in the world in my opinion and if any manager can find a formula to hold Barca and snatch a goal it is him.

In Arsenal news, Wenger and Arsenal are not to pleased that Wilshere has been included in the u21 England Squad and we will have to wait and see what agreement is reached. It is looking as if he will miss Arsenals pre season tour and even the start of next season.

With Pat Rice leaving at the end of the season, Gooners everywhere will be wondering who will step in too fill the shoes of a man who has served Arsenal longer than Wenger . The replacement is likely to be one of Bould, Grimandi or Banfield. Bould a member of the famous back four has a good understanding of the club, Grimandi shares Wenger's philosophies of bringing the youth forward and Banfield is very well trusted by all at Arsenal, so it is really anyones guess who would get the job. Personally I would like Bould to take up the job as he knows what Arsenal need and of course being the youth team coach at Arsenal gives him a knowledge of players coming through.

Arsenal have Stoke on Sunday and lets hope the continue winning ways, Man United host Chelsea and that is one game I will be sure not to miss.
