Arsenal take on Blackburn

This weekend sees us host Blackburn Rovers at the Emirates stadium. It would seem like an easy fixture, but with the way things have been going, who knows what could happen. I wouldn’t be putting down my Forex trading shares on Arsenal as quick as I would once have, but we are sure outright favourites….surely.

Arsenal has had a terrible run of late and has picked up only 1 point in the last possible 12. This is not good to say the least and Arsene Wenger and the fans will be expecting nothing less than the full 3 points against a Blackburn Rovers that sit 18th in the league table. The 4-3 defeat at Ewood Park earlier in the season is still fresh on my mind and we need to show our dominance. I don’t just want to win, I want to win big. After the draw against Bolton Arsene Wenger came out and said every league game from here until the end of the season will be a cup final. Well I only hope that means that we play better than we did against Birmingham last season.

Captain fantastic Van Persie has been on fire for the past 12 months and must be raring at the opportunity to of going up a shaky Blackburn defence that is likely to be missing Chris Samba. I have heard that the OX has a knock but I hope he can shake it as I don’t want to see that Russian on the park.

I was on my mobile trading the other day and saw a blog post I won’t mention who, that was praising Walcott for all the hard work he has been doing. I almost choked on my coffee as I read it half from laughing and half from the mere shock that I received. Walcott is utterly useless I would rather they start Park or Henry out wide, they will defiantly give me something different to watch other than Walcott sprinting, making bad crosses and losing the ball…every time.

I back the Guns for a 3-1 win I would like more, but that is what my gut is telling me.

Keep the Faith
