My Heart May Have Stopped Last Night

My word what a game!!! From disaster to running around my house screaming like a madman, waking up all my neighbours. The end result could have been so different and all the Wenger haters would have taken their pitch forks out of their closets and taken to the streets. But instead they were made to eat their words. Whatever Wenger said to them at half time did the trick and the Gunners kicked it into high gear.

Four goals down after 37 minutes, I found myself reaching for beer to drown my sorrows, but come 120 minutes I found myself reaching for another beer for a completely different reason. Watch all the highlights here.

Reading VS Arsenal - Come on you Guns

Arsenal take on Reading tonight in the Capital One Cup, a clash that will undoubtedly see Arsene Wenger ring the changes. If I was a betting man, which I am, I would say that this is the side I expect to see Wenger put out.

The Arsenal FIFA 13 Pro Footballer Tournament

Watch the Gunners Podolski, Frimpong, Wilshere and the Ox battle it out for the title of Fifa 13 champion. It's great to see how relaxed and actually funny some of the players are. I also wondered if the players would try make themselves score and well as you can see Frimpong loves too...great video.

Your Ideal Arsenal Team this Season...

As we sit watching the 2012/2013 Premier League Season, Arsenal are sitting in a better position then last season. With all injured players returning to training it is time to look at what the ideal team would be. I have made my selection below and have given a few reasons. Santos the World's Best Left Back

The Brazilian is hands down the greatest left back Arsenal have ever had. His ability to open up space for wingers and allowing them to get crosses in is amazing. The way he is always covering for his fellow defenders when they charge up the field is a credit to teamwork everywhere. And let's not forget his fitness and speed. He is able to make dazzling runs into the opposition final third and still has the ability to get back before the opposition have the chance to counter.

Wenger Touchline Ban Cartoon and a Word on Tonight.

With Wenger recently served a touchline ban, I thought this was pretty funny. Tonight we play Schalke 04, and as I have said: "A Win...Nothing else will do". And that is true, Arsenal have the potential to do great things this season.....and as it has been said so many time before the push starts now.

A Win.....Nothing else will do.

On Wednesday night when Schalke visit the Emirates in the Champions League nothing but a win will do. Although we top the group at the moment Schalke will be our toughest test. However following that poor poor performance against Norwich, nothing but a win will do to get the Gunners back to winning ways and the mindset we need to push forward.

Jack is Back

Jack Wilshere is in the squad for Arsenal's game on Saturday against Norwich. I am of course delighted by the news that Jack Wilshere will be in the squad, but there is still a huge part of me that is worried. Could this be a little bit premature for the young star to be put back in the mix, or is he ready to take up his rightful place?

Here Comes Norwich - Yeah Buddy

Finally the Premier League is back, yes we have survived the International Break. More Importantly the Arsenal is back in action, I can now stop watching re-runs of the West Ham game. It’s Carrow Road, Norwich up next and the Gunners will be looking to continue their unbeaten away record.

Form or Class, that is a question Arsene Wenger will be asking himself. Jenkinson finds himself as one of the form defenders in the entire Premier League this season, but with the return of Sagna, the question remains....who will Wenger pick?

Santi Cazorla and Olivier Giroud Embrace

Spain hosted France last night in a World Cup qualifier and were odds on favourites to win the game. However it was not to be, in what turned out to be a very exciting second half, the French got a 90 min equaliser through our very own Giroud. Ramos got things under way to make it 1-0 before Koscielny gave away a shocking penalty. But no matter as Fabregas stepped up and was saved by the Spurs Lloris that kept the score 1-0. So 1-1 on the night with the Arsenal man getting a goal. Great stuff especially seeing the two Gunners having a good old embrace

Will Jack Wilshere be able to break into the Arsenal Starting line up?

There have been many Arsenal fans who have stated worries that Wilshere will suffer the same problems that Eduardo suffered and never return to his best. There are others that believe that with the current form and depth of our midfield that Jack will battle to get back into the side. And there are others like myself that believe Jack is the future of Arsenal and will come back stronger then ever. What's your view? Make sure you vote above.

International Break, Who? I say who likes these?

I don't think there are many of us football fans that appreciate or look forward to the international break. Unless you are a Liverpool fan and it gives you a well earned break from all the winning that is going on in your team of late. I joke I joke, but seriously international breaks must be the worst thing to happen to league football. 

The Battle of the Right Side

It's Carl Jenkinson vs Bacary Sagna, it's youth vs experience, it's form vs reliability. I could go on and on but the fact remains that Wenger has a huge dilemma (a good one at that) on his hands with the return of the Frenchman to the Arsenal fold. The Jenk has been in fine form of late, which has even warranted him interest from the England camp.

Arsenal’s title challenge – how long will it last?

Seven games into the new Premier League season and Arsenal find themselves in seventh some seven points adrift of leaders Chelsea. 

Sticking on the seven theme, Tomas Rosicky, Arsenal’s number seven, is set to return to action in the next few weeks to hand Arsene Wenger a timely boost, meaning optimism is high among fans.

The departure of Robin van Persie and Alex Song has not triggered the slump in fortunes that many predicted on the eve of the new campaign – not yet at least – yet the Gunners are still being viewed as outsiders for the title.

I Really Do Believe!

I know that we have many disappointing seasons of late, but there is just something inside of me that says, "Yes, this season we can do it". If you look at this delicious picture of our squad, it is definitely the strongest we have had in a long time. Take a moment and decide for yourself.

Here are some highlights from the boys in action last night. I had a serious bet on the game, so I am only waking up now from all the celebrations and 20 or so drafts that somehow made it down my throat. Even though my mouth feels like sand paper, I can still taste the deliciousness of victory
