Arsenal vs Chelsea the Stats that Paint a Picture

The Gunners are set to face off with Chelsea at the Emirates on Monday night. Arsenal’s lead in the table has been cut to just two points from Chelsea and Liverpool after our defeat at City and a lose against Chelsea could potentially drop us down to forth. I am sure the boys won't want this to happen and will want to put 2 poor results behind them. Let's have a look at some stats below.

So far after 16 games in the EPL do tell us a story....and you know what the story is? It's that we are pretty even. Just take a look below, defence, attack and distribution.

If maybe one thing can be drawn is that the stats point to Arsenal having more of a combined team play, assists and well as a more passing game. But we knew this already. Arsenal have shown this season that they have come together as a team and a unit. A close unit. Hopefully that will be in full force on Monday, because we really do need to get a result against Chelsea.

Kos the Boss, picked up a cut against Man City, so I am not really sure what that means and if he will be available for selection. I hope so, but if not, it is not the end of the world.  Vermalen really needs to step up and rediscover some of his old and much better form so Arsenal can have a solid defensive unit for such a huge game. And I think he can, he will be wanting to impress. With Theo back and grabbing to goals, fans will be hoping to see more of this. I predict that we will see the same team that faced City, barring of course the suspended Wilshere and potentially Laurent Koscielny. Verminator and Arteta I am sure will fill into those spots.

So my prediction, well I believe Arsenal know they must win so I think its going to be 3-2 to the Arsenal, I don't know why, but that is what I am going for. Until then COYG
