The Gunners Prove to Much for the French, But we are Still Not Through!

Jack Wilshere scores

It was 2-0 to Arsenal last night and 2-0 to Jack Wilshere. We hit the ground running and within the first 29 seconds of the game Jack Wilshere had put us in front. It was the young Englishman's first double for the Arsenal and you could see the joy that it brought him. However even though we are on 12 points, but some madness we are still not through. Dortmund beat Napoli last night, which means they are both on 9 points. And if we are wanting to top the group (you dam right we want to) then we are going to need at least a point in Italy with our final game.

Aaron Ramsey had another great game as did Per the German Giant. Our other German however was off the pace, and although he proved the perfectly waited pass and assist for Wilshere's second, he seems to be showing signs of needing a rest. He missed a penalty with a rather awful shot, but it really does look as though he needs a sleep. On a side not Chelsea lost to Basel, so that is fun and Ajax beat Barcelona, which is always great to see.

All in all a solid performance from the men in red, and Szczesny didn't have one save to make, so well done to Arsenals defence. I have included some images from the game so take a look. COYG
